The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing R3’s social media strategy, growing the company’s followers and fan base, fostering dialogue in relevant communities with influencers, as well as creating, implementing and managing innovative programs that drive web traffic, brand awareness, and reader loyalty through various social media channels and outlets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, Tumblr as well as other social networks.


  • Act as the frontline brand manager by interacting with customers, prospects and followers across various web platforms
  • Oversee and manage all social media account profiles and personas
  • Establish new and maintain existing relationships with influencers
  • Recommend and apply relevant social media best practices, techniques and tools to improve ROI and results on social activity
  • Communicate audience sentiment and responses to appropriate management and editorial staff
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing team to execute projects and campaigns for clients
  • Develop innovative promotions and campaigns via social media that drive traffic and engagement
  • Monitor and analyze social media activities to determine what works and what doesn’t and why
  • Track ROI on all campaigns using various analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Pinterest Analytics and more
  • Be ahead of the curve on industry and social media trends and opportunities


  • Familiar with Google Analytics
  • Deep familiarity with Facebook Advertising, Facebook Analytics, Pinterest Analytics, Twitter Advertising
  • Active personal user of social networks
  • Prior digital media experience and knowledge of social media a must!
